Last year the Rams came out of the gate in week 1 leaning on Malcolm Brown (18 carries). But in weeks 2-7 it was Henderson that led the way (14 carries/game). He averaged 6.5 carries/game the rest of the way.
Meanwhile as the season progressed it was Akers that took on a bigger and bigger role. After coming back from his week 2 injury @PHIL he ended up averaging 15 carries/game his last 8 games (plus 46 more in two playoff games).
I think we'll see similar ebbs and flows this year. In part because Michel is brand new to the system so he's not going to be on the field for 50 snaps anytime soon. But also, yeah, both these guys might get dinged up and miss time here and there. But my guess is that Henderson sees the majority of touches the first 4-6 games while it's Michel that sees 60-70% of the work the 2nd half of the year. Could be a case where the Rams end up with two 900-yard RBs or something.
