Sony Michel has already impressed Kevin O’Connell in practice. This could be the usual positive overhyped coach speak talking up their new RB.
Michel's resume has enough of a sample size to believe he might have his best season (not so much stats) as an impact RB for the Rams.
Drafted (31st overall) in 2018, Sony has been a mixed bag by pundits about his overall value.
We can all say if he stays healthy he will do this or that.
For me, I just want him to perform like he did last season. He didn't accidently have his best career average per carry (5.7) by accident.
His average per carry was only over a 9 game span in 2020, but that is enough for me to believe he was on pace for a breakout season before his quad injury.

Since 2011, Sony Michel has had injuries to his knee, shoulder, ankle, forearm, and foot, all before hitting the IR again this week with a quad injury. Looking at that list it’s hard to say anything other than “Man, that guy gets hurt a lot.”
It’s hard to connect the dots. For instance, there are some injuries that tend to be connected, like hamstring and knee injuries, but this long list of ailments doesn’t fit that bill.
Michel just plays a violent sport and sometimes takes the brunt of the impact in a bad way.
