AND that they think he could be our #2 next year after Wolford walks.
They believed these 2 things so strongly that they were willing to give him a slot on the 53 which will cost them a very promising young player from another position group who would have been infinitely more likely to see the field if only on ST.
I say this because of these things:
He won’t be active on gameday.
He could have been available for future games due to injury or Covid even if he had been on PS.
In my personal opinion he was 90% likely to make it to the PS so I think that the Rams chose to err on the side of caution.
Having said all the above, I’ve gotta trust these coaches on such matters.
