They've been to us like the old Fisher teams were to Pete Carroll. That division rival team who can beat you up in the trenches and neutralize what you do well. But this year's team should be better at handling that.
The QB change is significant there. Stafford is going to threaten their defense big time. We'll still have issues with that defensive front but it won't be one-way like it was with Goff back there. Also they won't have Blythe to blow up when they need interior pressure, and hopefully Allen is more stout there.
But either way I think the Rams improved more this offseason than the 9ers did. So I expect that will show in the games head to head. I hope it does. I am tired of losing to those clowns and seeing all the reverence given them around here.
