I agree with you. I am just in the camp of basing 2022 "budget" and spending mainly on Whitworth retiring and extending Stafford (plus we'll see with Hekker). I put any sort of added restructuring of Donald or Ramsey in the "in case of emergency break glass" category. I'd really, really avoid it. Donald will be 32 years old in 2023 and 33 in 2024. I would rather have as little guaranteed money with him at that point as possible.

Commit to moderate spending in 2022 and by 2023 the Rams will be in as good cap shape as most.
