Sometimes teams showcase guys in hopes of trading them. Might be the case for Perkins or 1 of the Safeties, perhaps even a DL guy (both Browns?).
On the other hand, teams will not play guys because they don't want other teams get more film on them.
And, because they want to keep the depth intact without injury.
McVay has proven to be super injury cautious. So there's going to be some guys that will play very little who have played in the first 2 games. Doubt we see anymore of Burgess, for instance. The issue of course is that you need enough guys to suit up to have a full team with some back ups... which is why they changed the way cut downs happen.
I expect some different guys at KR and PR. I think they'll want to protect Tutu. And, we'll probably see Gay be the punter because the Rams don't want to invest in one at this time. They'll let the Covid protocol thing play out with Hekker and new kid. I still think the Rams let Hekker go or trade him. Probably they waive him.
