He was the 25th pick in the 2010 Draft when in reality he should have been something like a mid-3rd. If he had been his career arc may have been much different. He would not have been under pressure to play and play well so early. He needed several years to be developed from a really good college football player into an actual NFL quarterback and he didn't get that. I still think his career would have been more like Colt McCoy's but he wouldn't have flamed out so quickly.
Give the guy credit though. Not many athletes can say they were good enough to be an elite college football player, start and win an NFL playoff game and play pretty well in AA minor league baseball.
He has a good life ahead of him as a college football analyst and paid speaker.
