Thanks Crazylegs...
We stayed at the Rodeway Inn & Suites, right near the southwest corner of the complex just across Century Blvd. About a 15 minute walk from the front gate.
Advertised as a 3.5 star, but that is being generous. Old and rundown looking from the outside, but clean rooms. We didn't expect much for $124, but it was good enough to lay our heads down for a night.
Next day my granddaughter just had to shop for school clothes in the famous Garment District. That place is a madhouse... and had to go down some scary streets to get there... I was bored silly, but she was happy so it was a success.
Second half of Sunday spent at Universal City. Most of the same old good rides and shows, but the new (to me) Harry Potter was really the best.
Great weekend.
