I think there needs to be more clearly defined definitions of some of these things. Sexual assault for example. I mean, how broad of a definition does that cover now? To me, there is a BIG difference between some of these things. If a boss coerces an employee into doing something they don't want to do in fear of losing their job, that's a lot different than Watson propositioning women.
His most egregious offense appears to be that he would strategically get his wiener touched. Okay, that wrong but at the same time, isn't it possible that we've all become a bit too sensitive about some of these things? This is locker room type stuff and really isn't in the same conversation as being forcibly penetrated. Watson likely stepped over a line but asking for sex and being refused is all that really happened isn't it? No one was forced or hurt and at the end of the day, I find it very difficult to believe that massage therapists don't know how to deal with a boner.
Maybe there's more to the story and Watson deserves the ostracizing, if so I'll amend my POV. But destroying a man and his career for making passes at women seems far, far, too excessive of a response.
