1) They can always pick up a Vet RB when final cuts happen...after they see what they have with the young guys.
2) Wolford almost got knocked out in his first start, and did get knocked out early in his 2nd start. He's really small and likes to run- not a good combo. He also doesn't have full time starter potential. Minshew might have starter potential, plus he has 20 NFL starts. The Rams are never going to be able to afford an expensive backup. Getting a guy like Minshew for $1 mil a year is about the best they'll ever be able to do
