But even with those things it's really hard in today's league to win without a QB. Defenses are too specialized. They'll load up vs the run and Indy will be a .500 team at best in that window without him.
Worst thing here is that the rumors swirling around Eason aren't good. He's the same guy he was before the draft, a slow processor who doesn't see well.
But I do think that their HC is very good at dumbing down offense, like he did for Foles during the Eagles' Super Bowl push. So my guess is they go with whoever wins their QB camp production. They drafted Ehlinger this year who is more a backup than a starter but he's scrappy and can run a bit. Maybe they dumb it down for him and run a college offense until they get Wentz back.
