So yes him missing camp will affect that. But what is interesting with him is that usage/scheme matters too. If they plan to line him up on the LOS with block/release type usage he's going to need a lot of time because he's been a WR at the previous level. But if they plan to throw him outside the hash or in the slot and isolate him vs a DB or LB we're going to feel his contributions sooner because he's been a WR at the previous level.
I'm guessing the plan is the latter. Teams will also dictate how we use him too, that's how this league works. By that I mean initially he'll draw LBs due to defenses loading personnel vs 12 sets. But once he shreds the LB matchups he gets then he'll be treated as a WR by the defense and see more DBs.
I'm guessing he'll be somewhere around 600-800 yards by the end of the season. Which for the Rams would be really good. Generally the best TEs do show you something in year one. Now maybe this injury derails that, but I suspect there's a plan for specific usage that will overcome that.
