I wouldn't expect or think any NFL QB would be in "full" mode with that guys playbook. The thing I feel good about though is if this guy has questions he'll get an answer and if that doesn't work he'll ask again....not really comparing to Goff no one knows save the QB and the HC.....But it just felt to me that sometimes Goff could have been nodding in acceptance without the understanding behind the play idea.

IMO to understand the basic operation of an offense you need to know/understand how a defense would react to it, to defend it....at times it looked like Jared would play the play hell or high water...could be wrong of course, but it's just how my eyes took in certain plays.....I think that Matthew has a better grasp of the hows and whys of the plays...doing that in a new offense would take some time for sure....the hows and whys go a step farther then just knowing where a play goes.....IMO that was what was going on with Jared...he just grasped the part of where the ball goes...
