33 year old RB coming off 3.1 and 3.2 ypc two out of the last three years? Doesn't sound appealing at all. He has slowed down a lot from his heyday. I'd rather go with an unknown that is hungry and just buried on a depth chart or late cut.

I'm not visioning McVay making any hasty moves for RB's over the age of 32 until he evaluates his roster over the next 2 or 3 weeks.

I could be wrong, but I'm leaning towards those that think the Rams are standing pat and will lay low while they sort out the brutal loss of Akers.

Coach McVay will likely listen to his staff and decide what's best for the team after reviewing some training camp film.

Agreed, I think McVay will be watching the position very closely during camp and Snead will be watching for pre-season standouts that might get cut.

This should be interesting to watch unfold!
