every RB McVay has plugged into his scheme has been effective.
That's not accurate. You have to look at 2020 gamelogs.
Because of injuries, missing games, AND 4 games where he didn't produce when healthy, Henderson has NOT been consistently productive.
Not counting the game he missed entirely at the end, that's 7 games.
In those 7 games DH carried 47 times for 92 yards, an avg of 1.96 a carry.
You can do this to any RB. No one said that EVERY game was effective. I didn't say that he was consistently productive. That's you either not reading or changing things. My assertion is that overall every RB, including the let go Brown and scrap heap CJ, have been effective in McVay's system when plugged in. (obviously that means when they're playing so missed games don't count).
But if you want to nitpick game logs, let's look at Akers. 5 games inactive or injured, ineffective week 10 for 5 carries, 15 yards, ineffective week 16 with 21 carries, 34 yards. That's 7 games for him too.
On Henderson, it would help to list the other 2 games you're saying he missed due to injuries since he played in 15 games. It would also help to list the 4 games you're talking about where he didn't produce when healthy. Without details your charge is vague and can't be assessed.
I'd say that being ranked #11 in Success Rate is near conclusive evidence of effectiveness. Success Rate is the best metric for consistency. Nearly every RB has a bad game here or there but if you're #11 in the consistency metric, you're doing better and more consistently effective than most.
