Confirmed. But to be fair, if the Rams suddenly scrambled to negotiate a contract with a veteran, they would be paying top dollar.

This is a logical 'wait and see' scenario, but I don't know that is eliminates the possibility of Rams signing someone. They'll want to see what they are working with first.
