I would take this one over the bone anyday. You can update the jersey and still make it look decent the bone jersey just makes no sense at all they would have done better to just release this jersey it's updated with a classic look. I'm not a fan of the patch or the font plastic look but it's an upgrade.

It's a slight upgrade from the bone which set the bar about as low as possible (F grade).

We now have a half a$$ attempt at something that reminds fans of the 80's road jersey (D-).

I agree. It's a "slight" upgrade from the bone. I do like it better but it needs a little blue on the shoulders to go with the yellow. Having said that, I still won't be buying any of these either.
