Is they do require the OLBs to drop and do some interesting things in the passing game. Sometimes even manning up. It's not like it's the only scheme variation that does that with a 3-4 front of course, but there's a big difference in telling a guy he has to make a short drop into the flat vs covering a TE on a wheel route.
But Morris is a more basic type dude. He's not going to run this defense--even if he does keep the base quarters look--with too much complication. Because he's not a guy who is steeped in the scheme with years of association. So of all the unknowns with 2021 his approach as DC looms as the single largest for the entire season, right ahead of the hope that Whit and Kupp can get through the season healthy.
