Yep it was Heartbreaking then. I still remember staring at the TV in disbelief again as the yr before and yr before and rinse and repeat. So many wasted opportunities.
The Vikings Playoffs/ NFC Champ Games were just weird some fluky stuff. I still think Ron Jessie scored on that potential TD but no review then hampered that, then came the ill fated 99 Yd Blocked FG return for a TD by Bobby Bryant after we had Drove all the way down the field.
Rams Players then always felt they were the better Team vs the Vikings then but strange things including calls nothing shady but more inept then anything cost them.
Many Rams players have said the Cowboys at times in those Playoff/NFC Champ Games just had a better gameplan and or were just flatout better then them at that particular moment in time. But again they always felt they were better then the Vikings.
I remember those times like it was yesterday a Proud time as one of the Top Powerhouses to be reckoned with but very painful too. GO RAMS !
