No way the Rams sign Noteboom to a second contract unless he takes a big step forward this year... which I'm not suggesting that he will. But he certainly could.
Still, Noteboom has done a nice job when he's been called upon, and he and guys like him have value (just as Blythe did and does) if for no other reason than they can operate in the system and plug right in.
The problem is, there are a few positions where you absolutely cannot get by with just a JAG, and LOT is one of them. Not every LOT has to be an all-pro, but, you need someone who is definitely better than just a JAG playing there.
