Running a team this way seems like it could be every 5-7 yrs before the team needs a 1-3yr rebuild of talent/influx of high end talent again.
But we are currently built to win for the next 3yrs and be highly, highly successful in the play-offs and -gulp- even the SB.

What happens when you run out of stars?

Don't get me wrong--I believe in building around a few key stars. On defense anyway.

But it does raise the question--what happens when their time is up.
