Absolutely none.

They’ve already got Ramsey and Williams outside, ranked #1 and #10 respectively just today.

And Rams have Long and Rochell waiting in the wings should DW depart next year.

If Rams are inclined to splurge on a FA there are better positions to invest in than CB with Gilmore. Much, much better positions.

Agreed.

This article bases their possible interest on the premise that "the Rams have shown time and again they're willing to mortgage the long-term future for a better short-term chance..." But that's not quite true.

The Rams have only mortgaged the future for elite or near elite players; they haven't done so merely for a better short-term chance. Whoever wrote this doesn't seem to understand their MO.

i see your "agreed" and raise you an "agreed".

i don't really mind when the rams "break the bank" on a high profile move when they are looking to the future as opposed to paying for the past. as long as they have consensus. which, of course, i have no way of knowing if they have. i'm tough on myself.

guessing at the price they'd have to pay gilmore versus what i guess they could get kj wright for - i'd rather put kj in the middle for 2021-2022.....
