Julio Jones did NOT make sense. And Gilmore is double that.
Gilmore is wanting bigger bucks. The Rams don't have bigger bucks.
The last place the Rams need to commit money two is a second Superstar CB. Especially when they may have one playing this year already in D. Williams.
And, the Patriots aren't going to let him walk and not get something very substantial in trade. Gilmore is doing what is happening across the league: reinventing player movement. Watson has been trying it. Rogers is trying it. Gilmore is trying it. And these teams better get real and call these guys' bluff or it is going to get totally out of control, where contracts mean absolutely nothing as concerns the player. The team will be held to guaranteed money, but the player will not be held to what is essentially guaranteed years.
