Yeah, the cost-benefit probably wasn't there which is why they dropped out. They didn't have the right cap or asset situation to make it worth it. However, he is not more expensive than Woods and Kupp. They would have been getting him for a great price which likely fueled part of their interest.

He would have cost them $38.3M over the next 3 years which is about $.77M more than Woods and $3.3M less than Kupp. That's a great price for an elite WR.
