He was brought in with an eye on 2021-2023. Like most rookies last year he was hurt by not having a proper offseason, camp and preseason. But regardless he was going to be TE4 for the duration. He ended up being active for 5 games and playing some special teams. So he at least got that taste of live action. I think he'll be very much a situational player given the logjam at WR. But if he can catch 25 passes and be a decent and willing blocker he'll have done his job.
