I'm sure the rest will follow soon.
Tutu's tiny size is concerning for any fan that has followed the NFL for several years. (as it should be)
Projecting his his route tree ability at the NFL level looks raw and below average if you truly watched all of his tape the last 2 seasons at Louisville.
His ball tracking skills look to be top shelf but his catch radius equates to his tiny frame.
He's a catch and run to the most favorable angle and chooses to quickly to get out of bounds or go down before he gets blasted.
He will be tackled easily if an NFL defensive player gets a finger on him.
He's not a jitterbug that jukes for yards after the catch.
Has absolutely has no tackle breaking ability at the NFL level. If he does it's because the NFL player whiffed.
He will probably bulk up to 160 to 165 lbs prior to the preseason but it will be hard for him to ever weigh 170 lbs during the first 2 years of his NFL career.
He will be a limited jet sweep, bubble screen, bunch formation, gadget slot receiver his rookie season. (maybe 5 - 8 snaps in a few games during the first half of the season if that.)
He might not even be active on game days if Desean Jackson is having a good season and some how stays healthy.
He is the quickest and fastest Rams WR but if he's bracketed or pressed and bumped prior to his route he will be taken out of the play instantly.
Many of the draft pundits and several fans see him as merely a gadget player and will hold their breath hoping he gets up after a NFL LB or DB catches him off guard in traffic and blasts him with a welcome to the NFL possibly sending him to the injured reserve.
Tutu has a lot of doubters and he's a big time underdog as the #57 selection in the 2nd round of the 2021 NFL draft.
I'm rooting for this little dude to explode and be a major impact. I believe he will be but there are so many doubts about him that I second guess myself about him daily.
He's by far the most intriguing Rams draft pick I've been excited to see in a long time.
