I'm still the type that judges the FO and Coaching by what happens on the field of play more than their draft picks matching my personal wish list. And in that regard the Ram's are doing pretty darned well.
Atwell I think can work and work well. As some have mentioned I think where he was taken is my ? more than Atwell himself. His size concerns me... and I think that applies to all of us? But I'm pretty sure McVay can scheme him open while not exposing him to an enormous risk of contact and I also think Atwell can handle a lot more contact than those who think he's going to break from bumping into Donald on the sideline.
Jones, well I'm on record of liking LB's so in that regard I'm happy.... BUT... sure looks, (my unqualified and limited research), like there were better options at that pick... even among LB's.
OL, mysterious... and has been since this regime assumed control. 2019 to 2020 was interesting, don't you think? They didn't come CLOSE to addressing the OL the way I thought they should in that off season AND YET... the improvement from '19 to '20 was in your face obvious... or at least was so to me. Whether they believe they're ok and sure of improvement "as is" or perhaps "KNOW" they have a solution to come... (trade?), I don't know.... almost certainly I'll be worried about it right up until kickoff...and most likely well into the season. - JamesJM
