What was that philosophy and how did they abandon it?

Keep refilling the incoming talent pipeline with quality Ram fits (love football and football smart) at positions a year before needing them to start. Then developing those players for next year to replace outgoing UFA’s and retirees.

Only way to offset lack of 1sts and huge contracts for elite players. Been working well for several years but it looks like they’ve stumbled through Day 2 this year.
