How good a player is not the only factor. Age is a factor. As I mentioned I voted for Rodgers in your poll but I hesitated for several seconds because of his age. Do I have him for 2 seasons max? Does he play as long as Brady? We don't know that. Brady is a rare case.
And you already agree that age is a factor. When you were arguing for Goff and against the Stafford trade you brought up age multiple times when you questioned the wisdom of trading for "a 32 year old QB." I looked it up so don't bother denying it...You were using age to support your argument then; so it's super inconsistent to suddenly try to downplay it as a factor now.
So...we're all agreed that age is a factor.
That doesn't mean it's the only factor. Obviously talent level is another one. Hence, why the Rams went after Rodgers first. You're not wrong there.
But what you haven't mentioned is the 3rd factor. Price. Maybe the Rams don't want to pay the price for the bride. Maybe the price for a younger bridesmaid is a better overall deal than the exorbitant cost for the older, more wrinkled bride. Lol...
