I'm sure some of them warrant a first round pick too. But I don't think the Rams are interested in the RT types.
Who am I talking about? Well first off remove Sewell, Darrisaw, and Slater because they're probably not going to make it to us. From there...
Teven Jenkins looks like a RT to me. He's a stud and very valuable but he's probably not a blindside guy. Plus everyone glosses over his shortened season due to his back. How does he look medically, well we don't know what the teams know but he scares me and he's not a fit for what we need.
Jalen Mayfield is another RT. I see a lot of expectations that he can easily slide over but I don't see that when I watch him.
Vera-Tucker is a lot like the Panthers' RT, I really like him. But is he a LT? Meh. Maybe. But probably an interior guy who hits pro bowls early on he is extremely smooth and one of the safest picks in this draft IMO.
Samuel Cosmi is a big and impressive player, I really like him. But not at LT.
Jackson Carman isn't even a RT, IMO he'll move inside and be a very nice OG for someone.
Alex Leatherwood another guy who might go inside at the NFL level but I think he's a RT. Either way that dude's not a LT.
Spencer Brown is like a cyclops lol. RT. No way that dude plays the blind side.
Pull those guys out and finding a LT at 57 is gonna be dependent on specific guys sliding to them. I mean I think Eichenberg is a LT but his own coach said he'd be a RT. So IMO from the Rams' perspective there's only a few guys they're gonna have circled and targeted on their board, as Snead said the "pool party" types.
