but what I distinctly remember from last season's defense was that they could NOT stop the run against teams that ran well.. The Whiners ran ALL over us, I seem to remember the Pack running all over us, as well.. if we can't stop the run, I kinda doubt we get much further than we did, no matter who's under center..
The Pack ran all over us but that was not the case for any of the other good running teams. Interestingly enough the 49ers were a middle of the pack running team in 2020.
Going by yards / attempt, here are the top ranked running teams we played:
Philly - 3rd
Seattle - 5th
GB - 6th
NE - 8th
Arizona - 9th
We manhandled all of them but GB.
