I've watched this game several times and there were many reasons why the Packers beat the Rams and their #1 ranked defense in the divisional round.
The Packers were the Vegas favorites before the playoffs started. They earned that respect with their 13-3 regular season record.
The Rams were on the road against the #1 seed in the NFC. They were rightfully the underdog going in to this game.
Donald was not at full strength and it was obvious by the lack of pressure the Rams put on Rodgers.
Even with without a healthy Donald the Rams were in this game late in the second half. The Packers were a good team but not a great 13-3 team.
This was evident after the Bucs beat them in the NFC Championship game.
The Packers had a great game plan vs the Rams with their running attack scheme.
I could go on and on about a whole bunch of other points but I'm not going to waste your time.
Most posters on here have a solid NFL IQ and that's why I continue to post my thoughts.
The better team won but after reviewing this game several times, Goff did not answer the bell when he was needed the most.
Just my opinion even though the O-Line had an off day in pass pro.
This is not a knock on Goff but it was the last game of is career as a Ram and it verified for me why McVay moved on from him.
Broken thumb rehab and all, this game showed me many of the little things of why McVay moved on from him.
Regardless of the excuses or debates of how and why the Rams lost this game, it still gets me agitated.
I know, take a chill pill Florida it's in the past now.
I always watch highlights of the Rams last game prior to the upcoming draft.
