What Deadpool said. Assuming we continue to be a predominantly ozb team the rams will favor lighter/more agile players over bigger/stronger players.
I didn't miss it and neither did he with his preferences. McVay has pivoted already from a zone only scheme because defenses have caught up to that game. He gradually integrated more power runs and now needs linemen that are both powerful and athletic. This isn't 1997 when the Broncos dominated with lighter, more athletic than powerful linemen. And it isn't 2018 when the Ram's scheme put most teams in a bind yet Detroit, Chicago, and New England laid the blueprint how to defend it effectively. Very few offensive linemen are adept at both and I seriously doubt those types will be available in the later rounds. Furthermore, I suspect even those with the necessary traits will help in 2021 because there is SOOOO MUCH for them to learn to run such a multiple offense. Just don't be surprised if they draft someone with all the credentials in the second round and wait to see them perform until the latter part of the season and they still blow assignments because it's such a difficult freaking job in there.
