I can see where the poster is coming from but the problem with this take is, it doesn't lineup with the way the Rams typically work.
If the Rams had some type of extension almost worked out, that probably does move CB way down on the list of needs. But when was the last time the Rams worked out an extension in April? Even when they talk liberally about their desire to extend a player they usually get it done in late summer of the last year or in the first few weeks of the season. They also usually talk about their desire to extend a player. So far, they haven't even started talking about extending DW.
What they usually do is go into the draft and prepare as if the impending free agent will leave. I don't see them leaving it to chance even when there's good vibes.
