I don't think D.Williams future with the Rams is going to dictate the position at which they take a corner. They simply need a 3rd/4th CB this year.
Well, I was mostly referring to the comp pick aspect if DW walks. I had completely overlooked that in my OP.
As to what Rams intend to do with DW? I could absolutely see how it might affect their draft strategy. For example, they might decide to wait on an early outside CB and then settle for a slot CB much later in the draft IF they’re determined to extend DW.
