No offense to NewMexicoRam; it's a common mistake. And Missouri has even lower income taxes than Kansas, anyway.
If you saw KCMO vs KC Kansas, you'd never make that mistake!
And yes, I'm biased.
My parents were both born and raised in Kansas as well as me and my brothers and sister (excluding the years my dad was in the military). I lived in Junction City from 1963-1965 and then in Wichita from 1968-1993. I went to high school and college in Wichita and started my career there. I've been in St Louis, MO since 1993 so I'm a little bit familiar with both states. People in both Kansas and Missouri kinda roll their eyes when folks don't seem to know the difference between KC, Kansas and KC, Missouri. You know... folks are funny about their home cities and states. Wichita was MY home. I can't tell you how many people used to ask me "So where are you from?" I'd say "Wichita". And they would almost always respond, "Oh... Wichita Falls?" *sigh*
