Clowney is all about the $$$. He is a #1 overall pick who turned down a good multi year deal for a one year prove it deal. In that year I am not sure he had a single sack. Last year Smith was a monster early in the season but admittedly tapered off, Clowney was a no show. If either could be had at the same price, I would go Clowney, but only because of the off field strikes against Smith but they would never be available at the same price. If either were to join us and they had a good year, there is a good chance Smith would stay. There is a great chance Clowney would be on to the highest bidder.
