I agree he could and should have a bigger and pretty versatile role next year.

Burgess was hurt week 7 (10/26) and had surgery almost immediately. So he's at the five month rehab mark and should be running at least lightly at this point. I would see no reason he is not 100% four months from now (9 months rehab total) when camp begins.

In 7 games as a rookie Burgess played 49 snaps on defense and 135 on special teams.
