I think McVay is under more pressure than Stafford. McVay is the one who wanted Goff out and wanted Stafford in. Now, if Stafford doesn't deliver and has anything less than a great year, it could reflect on the perception of McVay's ability to develop/work with quarterbacks. If Stafford's results fall short... that will be 2 "failures" on McVay in a row. It won't be pretty.
