I am honestly asking to try and get a sense of how challenging this type of improvement is for players and coaches to make. Have you seen a lot of success with WR and TE coaches coaching players out of frequent drops? Do you see players make gains after dedicating hours and hours on the jugs machine? The Rams TE coach Wes Philips got promoted. That is a good sign. Coach Phillips constantly preaching look the ball in your hands before making a football move in meetings and on the practice field is the method right? Reminding the player YAC can't exist without the catch. Hopkins staying after practice to get more reps is something else he could do. The gloves NFL players use now is essentially a legal version of the old Lester Hayes stick'um. Hopkins looks like he could be a true weapon in McVay's offense if can eliminate the drops from his game. I am always thrilled to see players and coaches develop. Hopkins could be a steal if he continues to improve as all NFL players strive to do.
