Well she was being thorough, and since she was being thorough, what are the odds she did not talk to one or more of the following:

Zac Taylor, or Matt LaFleur, or Greg Olson, or Shane Waldron. Or for that matter, perhaps even Aaron Kromer.

And what are the odds the Rams would let a fake quotation go by in a major espn article about them? Do you think they are that stupid?

Trying to discredit "sources" is the stuff of agenda-driven politicians. We're better than that and know better.
