Keeping Blythe one more year while drafting a better quality prospect than Allen is fine by me. Like in other position groups, their cupboard is hardly bare on the OL.

I think your take is spot on, 93, and I’m actually okay with it.

My exception was when 2 elite type C’s became available. I considered each a rare opportunity for a guaranteed 5 year solution and I was under the impression that the necessary cap dollars were in place. Heroic measures were justified to acquire them, IMO.

Once learning that Hudson had not been released and had to be a trade I knew he was off the table for the Rams.

Anyway, as you say, Rams had a different strategy all along.
