He took a hometown discount. Really low. To return and help team. I know Brockers and Andrews had the right to do what they want. But just my opinion.

Andrews was a free agent, explored options, and then made a choice. But we don't know what the choice really involved since we don't know what his alternatives were in terms of the offers he was getting.

Brockers was under contract, not a free agent. Rams asked him to give money back from his contract. He declined. Rather than release him as a free agent to choose a team and contract the way Andrews did, they traded him.

In trading Brockers, I don't think the Rams were acting out of anything but their own business interests. I don't think there was malice or anything like that. As I understand it, they got more cap savings from trading him than they would have from cutting him.

So when the Rams act that way it's business. When Brockers chooses not to give money back, that's business too. I get it both ways.
