So don't also assume that to the Rams they would be settling for a Chevy when want they really want is a Mercedes. They may be perfectly happy with the Chevy and not in the market for a Mercedes unless they could get it for the price of the Chevy!

All the above were examples where Rams chose pricey excellence over more affordable ‘pretty good’ players. DW hasn’t been paid quite yet but they did use a 1st round tender on him which speaks volumes.
Rams are Exhibit A for going the limit in bringing in best possible players right up to the ragged edge of the cap limit.
Hudson is a game changing elite talent and Rams can now afford him so to me it’s an absolute no brainer.
If Rams don’t at least try hard to secure Hudson I will be very, VERY disappointed. I would describe a lack of serious effort to be criminal negligence. That’s how strongly I feel about this opportunity.
