This is the right comment to make no matter if they are planning to draft one or not.

My personal belief is that Holmes is not satisfied with the 6 picks the Lions have. He wants 9+. The #7 is their most valuable and they can probably get whoever they want at #12 or #15 + pickup capital.

If the guy they love is there at #7 they could take him. I could see them trying for a guy like Mond on day two.
