I imagine they will (or likely already have) talked with Brocker's agent for a substantial restructure with a large reduction in pay. These don't happen all that often because of player ego and hurt. So, they go elsewhere, sign for the same or less, and somehow they feel better about it.

He is simply not worth what they're paying him. If they had the luxury of some extra cap space they might try to accommodate because he is a solid, reliable, versatile player.
