Because I would be happy with a center and a developmental tackle. in fact I think those two things are necessary depending on how we address our priorities in free agency. Even a guard late to develop. But not back to back to back rounds. We'll be here complaining about why we don't have pass rush, or a linebacker and the answer will be because we have 2 linemen sitting on the bench developing.
also, and I know y'all hate to hear this, but I really think the Rams are going to be fine with Corbett and probably even Edwards moving forward. Corbett is an average starter in this league. And I don't think that the Rams going to be so eager to feel like they have to try and upgrade from him when they can keep him for a reasonable deal. So in reality I think that they could add a center and a tackle and be completely fine on the offensive line. building an offensive line isn't about trying to find a stud at every single one of the five positions. You're better off investing in average starter that you can find them. So ideally you end up with one or two blue-chip guys mixed with a hodgepodge of average starters. The Rams basically have that so they're probably not going to try to change that anytime soon.
