First, you are spot on with Cox - he was a run and chase OLBer at NDSU in their 4-3. But LSU did have him play inside and out in their 34. I think he works all over. Move him around, get him into spots that will highlight his strengths.
As far as after your top 4:
McGrone - I like him, he is a bit raw. But has that Devin Bush feel to me that worked out so well for Pittsburgh.
Dylan Moses - if not for his knee injury late in the 2019 season, I think he is a borderline 1st. He has that athleticism to run and cover and can hit. He'd be a get in day 2.
Peter Werner - a SSLB at Ohio State - is is athletic, can cover and is strong at the point of attack. I think he works inside in a 34
Baron Browning - The WLB for Ohio State -raw, but crazy athletic upside. I think he might work inside as well. He has the size to do it.
Jamin Davis - If he is anywhere near 235 lbs - I'd gobble him up as my next ILB. Vastly under rated.
Yeah working through the ILBs, will looking at Moses and Browning is on the list too. Werner wasn't though I'll check him out.
What's your take on Monte Rice?
