The QB top 5 plus Trask is about it for depth.
The RB class is 4 deep. Sermon isn't very exciting and prolly not in my top 5
The WR top 5 seems right in some order. Its also a nice, deep class.
The TE group is 3 deep with Pitts a top 10 talent, Freiermuth a 1st round, early 2nd type and Jordan solidly in the 2nd. Its an OK class.
The OT group is good, some depth. Wonder if Slater is an OG due to his lack of length?
The IOL group is OK this year, not nearly as high on Smith as Bucky. I think I'd include Myers from Ohio St. instead.
Edge - we disagree a bunch here, Thats OK. There is plenty of depth at this position, but its developmental mostly. No real finished products after the 1st round.
DTs - Weak group, its his top 2 and then it goes south quickly IMO
LBers - some disagreements here, but its a nice, deep class thru the 3rd round.
OLBers - no real superstars IMO (Collins has a shot) in this class, but a ton of solid pros with good upside.
CBs - a couple of good ones at the top, then its cooks choice after that. Find a guy that fits your scheme and draft him.
S - How Richie Grant isn't on this list is amazing. This is a very good and deep class. You can find 1 all the way thru round 7.
Is this the best WR class since 2014?
I'd add Meinerz to the IOL list.
You confirm my thoughts on Edge. I'm just not excited about this class.
Not so thrilled on the LBers either but I'll look closer since you say it's deep. Besides Cox, who do you have your eye on for the Rams?
It sounds like I'm higher on the CB class than you. I like what's there after the top. What's your thoughts on Ifeatu Melifonwu, Trill Williams, and Benjamin St. Juste?
I'm not the expert but I think this is the best safety class we've seen in a while.
