What does "on" mean?

I mean we know Goff did not collapse the way Wentz did. it is very likely he can rebound. The Rams surely know that. So to me that's just not an issue.

For whatever reason there was a disconnect between qb and coach, and when that happens, one of them will go...and it ain't likely to be a coach with a 4-consecutive years winning record.

And fortunately for us it's entirely academic because Stafford is a good catch. It doesn't matter if this trade was hare-brained, the result of impatience, and so on--Stafford is a good enough catch to diminish those kinds of considerations.

There could be any number of reasons the Rams don't do better than 10-6 in 2021 (though I am not predicting that). That in itself does not determine the value of the trade.

It will take years to figure out whether this trade benefitted one team, both teams, or neither.
